"suspiciously similar to the old year."

I can’t bring myself to write too much for the new year, new decade. It feels like just yesterday that I wrote this and it all still applies. Even the resolutions. I’ve exhausted my supply of thoughts for a new year.
Some themes from the year—things I’ve been thinking about—in no particular order, with no particular elaboration.
- Playing by the rules.
- Hurting people close to me.
- Forgiveness.
- Writing.
- Distance from the past.
- Oberlin and/or Berkeley.
- Futures, futures, futures.
- Keeping in touch.
- Gender.
- Marriages.
- Making things.
- Dancing.
- Adventure.
- Meeting people.
- Inadequacies.
- Stories.
- How do I proceed?
I’d love to tell you my thoughts—there's so much I'd like to tell you about what I've been thinking—but I know how to articulate so little of it in a comprehensible way.
What have you been thinking about this year?
In 2010 I resolve to write things down.
( P.S. A poem I found and rather like. Seems somehow appropriate for a new year, despite being set in the wrong month. )
